the end of september

This has been a strange month. I definitely don't think I made much progress at all this month. Life decided to laugh at my plans it would seem. I got completely derailed working on stuff for my kid's birthdays. Which all happen in a cluster around this time of year.

Add to that the fact that the school break just began and I have the kids at home for 2 weeks, and things are even more properly off-track.

So what we need right now is to re-focus again. So it's time to sit down and plot out a hopeful timeline of what we are going to try and tackle and when.

I'm definitely fighting off the whole wanting to do ALL THE THINGS! thing. Mostly in that I want to drop working on a MUD and start working on graphical games. But I also think it's important to finish what I started here. And the more I focus on the singular goal, the faster I can complete it and start working on the other stuff "too".

Speaking of which, I've also been thinking about streaming some of the time I'm working on this stuff. I am not sure how much of a distraction that will be. But we shall see. I figure I can try it a couple times and see how things go.

And despite myself, I am putting together design ideas and building out on paper the next big thing I want to do. There will be a bunch of smaller things between now and then, but we will see how it all goes.
